About Higher Rock Charity

Our mission, vision, and the people behind our cause.

Our Mission

Why we exist: To provide essential educational support and tuition assistance to underprivileged children in North America, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of a child's right to learn and grow.

Our Vision

Where we're going: In the next 5-10 years, we aim to establish a nationwide network of educational support centers that will serve over 50,000 children annually, significantly reducing the achievement gap and creating a more equitable society.

Children Learning

Addressing Social Needs

The core problem we address is the educational inequality that stems from economic hardship. Data shows that children from low-income families are significantly less likely to graduate from high school or attend college due to a lack of resources and support. Higher Rock Charity bridges this gap by providing direct tuition aid and educational supplies.

SMART Goals (1-3 Years)

1. Increase the number of children receiving tuition support by 25% each year.
2. Partner with 10 local schools in Delaware to identify and support at-risk students.
3. Launch a mobile learning lab to reach rural communities by the end of Year 2.

Theory of Change

Input: Donations, volunteer time, and educational resources.
Activities: Tutoring, tuition grants, and school supply distribution.
Short-term Results: Improved grades, higher school attendance, and increased student confidence.
Long-term Impact: Higher graduation rates, better career opportunities, and community-wide economic growth.

Monitoring & Evaluation

We use a comprehensive M&E plan that includes quarterly progress reports, student performance tracking, and annual community feedback surveys to ensure our programs are achieving their intended impact.

Stories from our Principal: Sonia Yvette

"I've seen firsthand how a little support can completely change a child's trajectory. One of our first scholarship recipients is now a sophomore in college, studying to be a teacher. This is why we do what we do. Every child has a spark; we just help it grow into a flame."
